About

Twisted Crawdad Trails Race LogoSame race events; New logo! The Twisted Crawdad Trail Races take place on the third weekend in September and includes both mountain bike races and trail runs. In it’s sixth year, the Twisted Crawdad Trail Races boast challenging courses and multiple creek crossings. Improved in the fall of 2017, you’re less likely to get stuck in the mud while crossing the creeks thanks to the new concrete pavers. If you do for some reason, be sure to grab a crawdad or two if you can find them!

The mountain bike races take place on Saturday while the run events are held on Sunday. All participants are welcome to attend the packet pick-up on Friday night at the Bean Broker and also the cook-out on Saturday after the bike races are complete.

Events begin and end at the Cliffs Recreational Area trail head in the Pine Ridge National Forest and span multiple trails throughout the area.
